Kechup...

So I have been really bad about keeping this thing updated.

As I think everyone knows I am pregnant with boy #2 who is due May 23. We are so exsited to have anther little one running around.

James is doing GREAT. He can run and climb with the best of them. We have been working on signing and once James hit 1 it just seamed to click with him. He now signs all the time. Some of his words include please, more, fish, light, cat, ball, berry, and drink. I am so glad we chose to sign with him it has realy helped with his frustration level.

With the arival of #2 around the corrner we decided about a month ago that it was time to move James to a big boy bed. To our suprise he took right to it and has been doing great with it.

So here are some pictures of the last two trips home.

First we spent some time at the beach. James love playing with his toes in the sand!After That trip we were back in Bakersfield for Chris and Tara's wedding. They were both a little tiered and grumpy.That would be the groom (Chris) in the background.

James is now eating many solid foods and is a very good eater. On this day we kicked the don't play with your food out the window and eat/smeared yogurt and spaghetti noodles everywhere. He had a great time!

Bakersfield Visit

So we just got home from a 2week visit home. It was a great trip home we all had lots of fun.

We started the visit of with my birthday YEAH 21!!! We went out to dinner at Hungry Hunter and had a great time. My wonderfully parents then took a sleepy James home so I could go out with friends. We partied hearty at Logins. It was great to get to hang out with everyone.

Later on in our visit home we got to meet none other than the Dog Whisperer himself Cesar Millan! He was in town with the Bakersfield Animal Control, sadly Noah had gotten out of the yard and bit a jogger a few weeks back. He was to be quarantined to the back yard for the rest of his life but Cesar was able to give my mom some GREAT tips and Noah will be a happier safer dog for it. Cesar was a very nice man it was so cool to meet him. Travis made fun of Erica, Mom and me for being so existed! Cesar thought James was just a doll... as you can tell he held him for almost every picture.

Mom made the joke that after Cesar helped Noah with his aggression Papa helped her with hers. We went out to a friends ranch to go SHOOTING!!! It was so much fun mom and I rode the quad and I taught her to shoot a rifle.

James 3months

Well here is a little update on James. He is now 12lbs and almost 3months old. He has already DOUBLED I cant believe how fast he is growing. I am still cloth diapering even though Grandma Sindy keeps saying I will give up. James has started holding his head up pretty well when he is on his tummy. He still loves his bath time and I cant wait till it warm enough to take him kayaking. Here are some pictures of the last month.Great Grandma King finally got to meet James.

Bath Time!

Well I think I have a future swim champ on my hand he loves bath time. Here are some cute pictures of him in the tub and out.

Today we also had almost 4in of SNOW yes I said snow!!! I move out of Alaska to get away from that stuff guess it followed us here. LOL! Here he is all boundled up to go to the park to let the dog play in the snow.Had to wait till this morning to get a good picture of him in the snow.

He look so exsited. LOL My little snow angel.

I walked in to pick him up from his nap to find him and his loving kitty relaxing together.

They Grow Up Too Fast

James is now 1month old and is weighing in at 8lbs. Last night was the first time he slept in his room. It was so weired not having him right next to me in his bassinet were I can check on him all I want. I think he got more sleep then I did because I couldn't stop worrying that I wouldn't hear him cry.

Well he made it through the night (much better than me) and actually slept for 4 hrs strait which was GREAT!

He is starting to smile when you talk to him and is really big on kisses. He tries to suck on any part of your face you put close to him.

James Dennis Adams Arrived!

So the 13th of November started like this...

I woke up at 3 am to find that my water had broke. So I turn to Bryan and said "It's time to get up" he replies "It's 3 am read the clock!" I then told him "NO we need to go to the hospital the

BABY IS COMING!"

We arrived at the hospital and I tried to be brave and go el natural with the birth. Well that lasted until 7:45 am and I gave in and asked for the epidural which was the best thing EVER! I was able to SLEEP for about 2 1/2 hours. At 9:30 am the nurse came in to check on me and said "I need to get the doctor" and at 9:42 am our little bundle of joy, James Dennis arrived. Weighing in at 6 lb 7 oz and measuring 19" long.

Multi-tasking has already started.
